Illustrators and graphic designers abound in a land where hieroglyphs and graphical representations were the precursors to modern writing. This is illustrated (pardon the pun) by very ancient paintings and engravings such as those collected under the umbrella name of African Rock Art. Older and newer designers’ style are introduced, some known and some less so. Some design projects are presented, that look to make a whole difference in the community and the representation of its artefacts.
